Honorable Minister for Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, visits schools in the Eastern Region with CENDLOS Executive Director, Nana Gyamfi Adwabour and Heads of Agencies

The Executive Director of Cendlos joined the Honorable Minister for Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Eastern Regional Minister,Director General of GES,Fmr Director General of NITA and Heads of other Agencies at the Ministry of Education to pay an unannounced visit to some schools in the Eastern Region on Monday 20th March 2023.

The schools visited were:

1. Methodist Girls Senior High School, Mamfe.
2. Mampong-Akuapim Senior High Technical School for the Deaf.
3. Demonstration School for the Deaf, Mampong-Akuapim.
4. Presbyterian Senior High School, Mampong-Akwapim.
5. Aburi Girls’ Senior High School.
6. Presbyterian Senior High Technical School, Aburi.
7. Presbyterian Junior High School, Aburi.

During the visit, we observed classroom lessons and shared words of encouragement with the students.

We also inspected school facilities including the ICT labs and the Honorable Minister pledged to facilitate the provision of some new facilities including ICT labs where necessary.

Our observations during the visit is a testament to the great work our teachers are doing in these schools.
