Channel MoE Launched

The Ministry of Education has launched a new television station, Channel MOE, to promote education and contribute to the nation’s development. The station will broadcast high-quality educational content for students, teachers, parents, and global viewers.

During the launch, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum expressed his excitement about the station’s debut and hoped it would enhance learning and provide valuable information to audiences worldwide. He acknowledged the hard work of Nana Gyamfi Adwabour, Executive Director of CENDLOS, and the agency’s staff, whose efforts made the launch possible.

Dr. Adutwum, also the Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe, emphasized that the channel would showcase educational advancements and support the teaching and learning process. He mentioned that the channel could feature lessons on television, offering students the opportunity to learn at their convenience.

He also expressed gratitude to the development partners who played a key role in the station’s creation, including contributions to procurement, installation, and test transmissions. Dr. Adutwum highlighted that the channel would serve as an important platform for delivering quality education and information to improve the lives of viewers.

He concluded by stressing the importance of providing equal educational opportunities for all children, regardless of background, and building a future for Ghana through quality education. Additionally, he urged Ghanaians to vote for the New Patriotic Party in the upcoming elections on December 7 to continue the nation’s progress.

Nana Gyamfi Adwabour, Executive Director of CENDLOS, expressed his excitement about the station’s potential to educate and entertain its audience. He praised Dr. Adutwum’s leadership and vision, which were instrumental in bringing the station to fruition. He also thanked development partners such as Planned International, UNICEF, and CEMFED Ghana for their support.
