CENDLOS meets with key stakeholders on Open Education Repository (OER)

As part of building a resilient online and open Schooling system in Ghana, the Centre for National Distance learning and Open Schooling (CENDLOS) has held a two-day trial orientation workshop on Open Education Resource (OER) repository platform from 1st March 2022 to 2nd March 2022 at the Aknac hotel, East Legon. There were representatives from Ghana Institute of Journalism, Accra Technical University, Ghana Education Service, UNESCO, KNUST, UEW and retired educationists. The objective of the workshop was to orient participants on the OER repository platform. The Executive Director of the Agency, Nana Gyamfi Adwabour in addressing the workshop, informed participants about the need to infuse technology in Education especially in the era of Covid-19 hence the development of an Open Educational resource platform for Ghana under the auspices of UNESCO. This is a “UNESCO” Korean ICT Transforming Education in Africa project.
